As a Product Designer, I led a small startup of 4 into getting acquihired by Twitter in 2019 after going through the Y-Combinator. Lightwell was a no-code tool for designers and developers to import existing UI designs from Figma & Sketch into our tool through our SDK. Then, users would add animations and interactions that would get exported into Swift code without additional tools needed. From user and competitor research to iconography design and a whole system restructure, my role was to fit our product into a system that integrated with the product to development cycle designers and developers were used to. Our tool was born from an internal project that made animations faster to deploy to children's books. After seeing the tools potential in the design to development world, we doubled down on our users and met them where they needed us the most.
